Ephesians 5:1-2

‘Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma’

Network 72  is a group of people meeting together as a missional community, seeking to be a Family on Mission.
Our focus is to connect with, and get alongside, those in the workplace.
We meet every two weeks and arrange many socials for others to come to.
 .
In addition, we hold larger events particularly aimed at business and professional people working in and around St Helens. These larger events provide an opportunity to meet together socially and to hear leading speakers, speaking from a Christian perspective on a range of topics.

Comments from those who attended included:

“Enjoyed this event, would love to come to more. Well done.”

“Great mix of people, very interesting.”

“Great opportunity to network and be inspired.”

“Excellent idea – sure to be successful into the future.”

“It has certainly given food for thought.”

“Excellent event, really good news for St Helens.”

“Very inspirational and enjoyable.”

Our next Network72 lunch will be on Thursday 17 November when our speaker will be Sir Mark Hedley

Sir Mark left the South to come to Liverpool as a student 40 years ago, and despite an illustrious career that currently requires him, as a High Court Judge, to spend most of his time in London, he resides in Everton, as he has done for the last three decades, still managing to make a significant contribution to the community he has so generously helped throughout that time. A committed Christian, he strongly believes that the law should help the weak, the disadvantaged and the downtrodden.

 .
Some of our speakers at these larger gatherings have included Lord Brian Mawhinney, the former Bishop of Liverpool James Jones, Rosemary Conley, Chairman of St John’s Ambulance Rodney Green, and the current Bishop of Liverpool, Rt Rev Paul Bayes and Mark Mitchell
