Covid Memorial Service
In partnership with St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council and Halton & St Helens Voluntary and Community Actions, we are honoured to host a special church service on Sunday 9 March at 12.30pm to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The service will include a time of remembrance and reflection, allowing people the opportunity to share personal stories; highlight the collaborative work of St Helens Together during the pandemic and celebrate the community's response in supporting each other - while looking to the future, with messages of hope and renewal.
The service will conclude at approximately 2.00pm and refreshments are served afterwards.

Minster Arts Partnership Scheme:
St Helens Parish Church is excited to be launching its Minster Arts Partnership Scheme. The Partnership Scheme joins together the church with local arts and creative organisations, to create exciting events that celebrate the heritage and the future of St Helens. They will offer four partnerships for events held this year, and look to offer a whopping ten partnerships in 2025.The scheme is designed to grow relationships between all creatives in St Helens, and aims to attract local groups to partner with for high-profile events in the church.
Operations and Events Manager, Liz Thornton, said, “We know that we are all stronger when we work together, and the church wants to celebrate the very best that St Helens has to offer. We want to make St Helens Parish Church, as it becomes St Helens Minster, accessible to everyone in the town, and offer a variety of events, so that there really is something for everyone.” If you are interested in getting involved and holding a partnered event please contact Liz directly on 01744 22909 or: engage.minster@churchsthelens.org
